add on to Alecia's note: if you have hard water, you may want to use white vinegar (1/2 C) in the rinse cycle to prevent build-up of soap curd in your washer's pump. There are also commercial products on the market designed to clean up soap and detergent "scrud" from washers. One is called Affresh, sold by Sears. The washer cleaners are recommended monthly for all washers, whether you use Soap by Mom laundry soap or a laundry detergent from the grocery store. Mom
Alecia, I'm not a septic expert but I have no reason to think that the laundry is any less safe than the regular soaps that I make since they are made the same way. There are no lather boosting agents or filler chemicals like store laundry detergent. Mom
Hello, Just received my box of goodies from the Bubble Squad. I really like the laundry soap. We have a septic system and I’m wondering if you have any information as to whether the laundry soap is safe (of safer than other brands) for septic systems. I read the ingredients and everything looks to be relatively safe. Just wondering what your opinion is. Thank you! Alecia

Hi Alicia, I recieved my bubble squad package and it was like opening up a late Christmas present. I look forward to using the products. I am so excited to see the laundry soap! The Al-Jo Shea bathing bar is great. I like it just plain. I used it on my body, hair and for shaving. It works great. What is a good bar for dry and mature skin? Thanks Mary
